About Mark
“God is a miracle worker, and I am living proof.” Mark GeierShortly after completing his second year toward an electronic engineering degree, Mark was involved in a devastating car crash. He found himself fighting to recover from a severe brain injury…a struggle he contends with still to this day.At the time of the accident, Mark was a single father of a 9-year-old son. He was the Department Head of Auto-Cad Software Programming at A.C. Engineering in Denver. He worked out two times a day.Mark Geier started writing these books following a dream. "In May of 1990, God gave me a dream that changed the course of my life." The dream was that God would remake him to be the individual He wanted him to be all along. "God’s the potter, and we are the clay." Mark had some hard spots God had to remove.Mark had been raised in a Christian home. He received Jesus Christ in his heart when he was in first grade. His second-grade teacher told his parents that he was retarded. From that point forward, his parents treated him differently. This built a lot of anger inside of him.Not long after this dream, in 1990, Mark was involved in a serious auto accident...leaving him with a traumatic brain injury. (August 9) He was left with a second-grade spelling level, a fourth-grade reading level, and a six-grade math level. This after he had already completed two years toward an electronic engineering degree with a computer science minor. At 32, he had to start learning all over again.Shortly after the accident, he was let go. He simply could not perform at the same level, as before.God was working...however, it was impossible at the time to understand or see His Ways."God, how can you call me into a full-time ministry with the brain of an elementary child?" Mark began to heal slowly... He returned to school to get an Associate degree in Photography in ’94.As the years continued, God continued to heal his brain. He entered Colorado Christian University in 1995 to earn a Bachelor of Science in Organization Management and graduated in 1997...he attended Denver Seminary earning a Master of Divinity degree in 2001. "Praise God! He still works miracles."At the Goleta, California 2006 New Year's evening service, Pastor Dan Hodgson called to Mark; "The Father has called you to be an evangelist, a light to the church and the world."Mark prayed to the Father whose words were: “Now translate the letter of Ephesians.”"Writing this book changed my life...
